FAQs
-
Do I need experience in writing to join a course?
No. My courses are open to writers at all stages, from complete beginners to those working on their second or third draft. What matters most is curiosity, commitment, and a desire to develop your voice.
-
Will I have to share my work with others in the course?
Only if you want to. Sharing your work is always optional but many writers find that doing so helps build confidence, connection and creative growth. You are always free to participate at whatever level feels right for you.
-
Will I receive feedback from Christine on my work?
Yes. All courses include guided feedback, discussion, and practical exercises designed to help you strengthen your writing with clarity and confidence. This can be support and feedback shared in class or if you prefer, privately through email.
-
How do I book one-to-one mentoring?
One-to-one mentoring can be booked through the Contact page of this website. Once you get in touch, I’ll respond personally to arrange a session that suits your needs and also discuss price although this usually ranges from 100 euro to 250 euro.
-
I’ve just finished a novel and want to pitch to agents, do you support with this?
Of course! I specialise in helping writers pitch their novels successfully to agents. My support covers query letters, synopsis, and positioning your work clearly and confidently for submission.
I also run one-off Pitch to Agents workshops designed to give you practical, industry-focused guidance in a short, intensive format. Dates and booking details are shared on my Instagram.

I’ve only written half of my novel or have a very rough first draft, would mentoring be beneficial?
Yes, absolutely. Mentoring can be especially helpful at this stage. Working with a rough or unfinished draft allows us to look at structure, voice, pacing and direction before you go too far down the wrong path.
In some cases, I offer gentle line edits, particularly with early drafts, to help you strengthen clarity and confidence in your writing.
If you’re unsure, I often recommend starting with a course first, it’s a great way to experience my teaching style, approach to feedback, and the overall tone of the work, before committing to one-to-one mentoring.
