I am an Irish writer based in Dublin. My debut novel, Bodies, was published by John Murray in 2024 and was described as the “It Girl novel of the year”. It was shortlisted for the Kate O’Brien Award and has been widely praised for its exploration of intimacy, vulnerability and the lived experience of the female body.

I am currently working on my second novel.

Alongside my writing practice, I teach four- and six-week novel writing courses and offer one-to-one mentoring for writers at all stages. Details of current courses and mentoring availability can be found in the Courses section of this website.

Alongside my literary work, I am a women’s rights activist and a WeConsent ambassador, using my voice to advocate for bodily autonomy, safety and respect. Through my platform, Yellow Polka Dot Bikini, I write and speak about fashion, beauty and self-expression as forms of confidence, agency and personal storytelling.
